Cleansing can be done with water by placing your crystals underneath running water, pouring water over them, or placing them in a stream or ocean. Do this for about 1 minute, or longer, if you feel it is needed. 

Crystals that should NOT be placed in water: Selenite, Blue apatite (can go in only fresh water, not salt), Tourmaline, Labradorite, Moonstone, Sodalite, Chrysocolla, Fluorite, Lepidolite, Malachite, Pyrite, Lapis Lazuli, Amazonite, and Kunzite.

Cleansing can be done by placing your crystals in sunlight for a few minutes. Placing your crystals in water is to purely cleanse them, though, placing them in the sun is the perfect way to recharge them. 

Cleansing can be done be placing your crystals outside or on a window, just ensure that the moonlight is shining on them. You can do this overnight or just for a few hours. We recommend doing this whenever there is a full moon because it provides the most sufficient energy.

Cleansing with the earth can be done by burying your crystals under the dirt for about 24 hours. Just make sure to mark off where you put them!

Cleansing with sage is great for quickly removing negative energies. Light the smudge stick, and pass it over the crystals for a few minutes and finish whenever you feel is right.

Cleansing with sound can be used by Tibetan bowls, crystal singing bowls, a gong, tuning forks, or a bell. When the cleansing and charging is complete, the sound should be clear and bright. Follow your intuition with this one.

Cleansing crystals with other crystals can be done with certain types of stones. Carnelian, Citrine, Clear quartz, and Selenite can be used to cleanse other crystals. Preferably in the form of a geode, cluster, bowl or charging plate. Place your crystals on top of any of these to cleanse and charge them. Please be aware that since selenite is very powerful it can actually take away energy from certain types of crystals. The ones that are okay to be charged with selenite are any stones that are dark colours (black, brown, red, orange, and yellow).
